Hear from women who joined the MPP community

My first peri-sign was incredibly heavy periods. They were so bad I thought they may have been miscarriages. I casually mentioned this in a small group of women-- turns out they shared my experience. I no longer felt alone - and came away with options. Communities like these are so important to move past the taboo and support and celebrate the incredible capability of the female body.

Finally, I feel like I am not alone! Other women who understand what I’m experiencing, are compassionate, open and candid about their own experiences. There is power in this group of amazing women.

MPP has been a welcome source of support. Through it, I’ve discovered new strategies to support my health and gained a deeper appreciation for the power of women coming together to elevate this conversation.

Where can I find a doctor who knows about perimenopause / menopause?

While there isn't just one place, The Menopause Society has a list of doctors who are "menopause certified". You can search their database here.

What are the perimenopause symptoms?

We recommend you download the National Menopause Foundation's Menopause Checklist to get a good list and track your symptoms. You can access it here.

Where else can I go for more information on these symptoms?

The MPP Community has curated content based on the top symptoms - request to join! Additionally, the National Menopause Foundation has several Menopause Microcourses on key symptoms. You can find those here. Lastly, consider following the vocal doctors in this space on Instagram and YouTube.
